Nagoya Chunichi Hall & ConferenceAttracting overseas startups to the region and promoting business collaboration and investment among local startups. Strengthening ties between the Aichi, Nagoya, and Hamamatsu regions and overseas startup ecosystems, while creating opportunities for local startups to expand overseas.
・Be a startup founded within the last 20 years, possessing innovative technology or business models, and aiming for rapid growth.
・Operate within one of the following five fields: “MOBILITY,” “SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT,” “MATERIAL,” “LIFE SCIENCE / WELL-BEING,” or “ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY.”
・Be able to deliver a pitch in English.
・Must be available to pitch in Nagoya on Wednesday, January 28 (if selected for the finals).
・Must fall into one of the following startup categories:

‐ Global
startups targeting the Japanese market
Grand Prize: ¥1,000,000

Schedule Leading Up to the Finals

September 5 to November 7
Startup Application Period
We are seeking startups aligned
with TechGALA's theme from a wide range of fields both
domestically and internationally.
*The application deadline
may be changed without prior notice.

November–December
Document screening, speaker selection
From among the
applying companies, 15 companies will be selected to advance to
the finals following a document screening process.
※Finalists
will be announced on our website.

December–January
Presentation Refinement
The 15 companies advancing to the
finals will be assigned dedicated mentors to refine their
presentations before the main event.

January 28
Pitch Contest Finals
We will hold a pitch contest in Nagoya
and select the grand prize winner from among 15 companies.
