James Kwan is a seasoned entrepreneur and advisor with deep expertise at the intersection of technology, innovation, and education. He currently serves as Executive Chairman of Jumpstart, a Hong Kong–based Innovation-as-a-Service company that connects and empowers global innovation communities.
He has created and managed four venture-backed accelerators, supporting founders through hands-on programming and mentorship. James also sits on the boards of and advises dozens of startups and innovation organizations worldwide. His thought leadership in entrepreneurship has earned him a position on the SXSW Advisory Pitch Board, one of the world’s most influential startup pitch platforms.
Earlier in his career, he served as Executive Director of a company listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX), underscoring his experience in building ventures to scale.
